Commercial Analyst

A leading London based Retailer is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join them for a 6 month contract. This role provides support in forecasting, measurement and analysis of Customer Care benefits associated with Business Change.

Responsibilities:

• Analysing the weekly performance of the Contact Centres against their set KPI's and seeking to provide valuable insight into key variances to forecast.
• Support the Management Accounts team to complete an accurate month end close for both Customer Care opex and Supply Chain capex.
• Supporting the Commercial Financial Manager with the monthly forecasting process for both Customer Care and Supply Chain Development, flagging any risks/opportunities.
• Supporting the Finance Manager with adhoc scenario modelling including business cases for Supply Chain Development
• Build strong relationships with the Customer Care, Supply Chain Development and operational teams

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a solid understanding of management accounting principles (budgeting/forecasting/variance analysis/and commentary preparation) and should be able to review monthly costs, investigate variances and prepare commentary unassisted.
• Once established in the role, the candidate should be influential in promoting compliance with the cost tracking and forecasting process around the business.
