Finance Director

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Finance Director for a successful family owned business in Nottingham. The business has three companies within the group and a number of sites. This business has a long tradition in Nottingham and is one of Nottingham's well known and respected businesses.

As the Finance Director you will be reporting directly into the Managing Director and will manage the finance function for all companies within the group, ensuring all relevant standards are met and legal obligations adhered to.

Key responsibilities:

• Directly managing the Finance Manager and HR Manager and directly managing 3 clerical finance staff
• Production of Financial Reporting (Management accounts, forecasting and budgeting)
• Ensure all external reporting is complete and submitted
• Management and oversight of the external audits
• Responsible for the cash management and treasury functions
• Accountable for the production and completion of the HR and Payroll process for three payrolls across the three companies, including P11d reporting and all pension administration
• Ensuring system and internal controls are implemented and maintained within accounting policies
• Sit on the board of Directors and report the financial performance for all companies
• Pension Trustee for the Occupational pension scheme and responsible for all administration and regulatory reporting
• Administration for the company's insurance and healthcare schemes
• Company Secretary for all companies

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and an experienced Finance Director ideally with owner managed business experience. You must be hands on, with experience of also working in an operational capacity to aid to drive business performance. You will also have experience of working in a multi-site and group environment.
