Significant Six-Figure Salary + Incentives
Business
Our client is a well-established business operating in the B2B space. It has a record of profitability and a turnover of £150m supplying a wide range of innovative products. The European subsidiary of a quoted plc, the company is planning significant growth based on synergies created from recent activity and new investments in business development.
The company aims to dominate the UK and European market over the next three to five years. A need has been identified to recruit a strategically sound and tactically proactive CFO to work with the Managing Director and board to realise these plans. Clearly the number 2 role in the company, an individual is required who will deputise for the MD when necessary.
Requiring a “hands-on” person, the ability to combine a strategic outlook with tactical abilities, is desired. The emphasis will be on shaping strategy and realising efficiency gains; streamlining operations and delivering rising profitability in the face of margin pressure. The organisation works in a mature market which relies on constant product innovation to meet market demands. The impact of “Brexit” on margins and markets is just one challenge which will face the incumbent.
The appointed candidate will receive a significant six-figure salary along with executive benefits including car (or allowance), pension and profit related incentives.
