In-House Regulatory Lawyer, 2+ PQE, Edinburgh

Excellent opportunity to join the high-profile legal team of a leading retail bank, based in their offices in Edinburgh.

Role Profile:

• Identify and manage legal risk providing targeted, commercially focused legal advice on products and product development, processes, policies, and customer documentation.
• Advise on: Savings; general banking; digital and marketing and regulatory issues.
• Provide legal advice and input on innovative online customer journeys, including mobile apps using technology to enhance the customer experience.
• Advise on operational matters including change requests and process reviews.
• Build relationships and deliver training with the product and regulatory risk teams.
• Advise on consumer documentation including; Terms & conditions, product documentation, financial promotions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with circa 2 years experience. 
• Experience of financial services and regulatory matters would be an advantage but not essential. 
• Ideally candidates will have some experience of commercial contracts.
