Financial Services Regulatory Counsel | Elite US Fund

Our client is an elite alternative asset manager with a truly exceptional reputation in the market. They are looking for a candidate with a financial services regulatory background (familiarity with MIFID AIFMD etc), likely coming straight from a top law firm to move in house and focus or relevant regulatory matters to their business.

Working closely with the current legal team but reporting to a key stakeholder in the business, you will be a qualified lawyer and will likely have between 2-7 years of experience handling a breadth of financial regulatory issues with experience of the buy side. There is an excellent opportunity here to progress quickly within the organisation and work closely with the most senior stakeholders in the business.

Whilst candidates are likely to be making a first move in house those candidates already within a fund as part of a similar regulatory function will be assessed and considered on merit.

The successful applicant will have good academic credentials and be qualified as lawyers in England and Wales or another established jurisdiction and have prior experience working in a solid city or US legal practice.
