THE ROLE:

Our client is a leading name within the South West legal market and is growing rapidly by the day. Their private client department offers a full range of advice and due to an increased number of instructions, they are not seeking to add a senior Private Client Solicitor to the team. The appointed Solicitor will work on a varied caseload including drafting and analysing wills, preparing lasting powers of attorney, applying for deputyships and administering large and complex estates. The appointed Private Client Solicitor will be one of the senior members of the team and will, therefore, be expected to play an active role in business development as well as supporting the more junior members of the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Private Client Solicitor to be part of a firm at a time of real development and growth and as such, to experience the rapid career progression opportunities that will be on offer.

THE CANDIDATE:

This role will be ideal for a Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor or Partner at an exiting firm, who is looking to move to an exciting firm at a time of growth. It would be a district advantage if the Private Client Solicitor is STEP qualified however this is not essential provided the Solicitor has the wealth of experience required to make this role a success. Ideally, the successful Private Client Solicitor will have had experience of supervising other members of the team and will be keen to become involved in business development and subsequently, winning new work for the department and firm as a whole. The appointed Private Client Solicitor should have strong communication skills and appreciate the sensitive nature of the work they are undertaking.
