Job Description

This Head Office Accountant role is a broad and varied position

• Bookkeeping for the Group plc and production of period management accounts. Agreeing inter-company balances
• Producing HO budget and analysis and trends as required
• Managing and reporting HO capex
• Assist with reviewing OpCo accounts
• Day to day recording and monitoring Group cash balances. Trending and reporting as required
• Draft statutory accounts for HO companies and assist with proof reading Annual and Half Year Reports
• Assist with sales analysis, analytical review and other information as required. Directors remuneration forms
• Analysis of head office costs and Group Operational Resource costs - re-charge operational support to OpCos

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified. You will be IT literate with knowledge of MS Office & Sage Line 200 accounting software beneficial but not essential. Key to the success of the role is your positive attitude, willingness to get stuck in and work on own initiative to identify and resolve issues and problems.

£50,000 to £55,000 plus benefits
