BANKING LAWYER NEEDED - MAJOR BANK - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

We are working with a major international banking institution in London, who are seeking a junior to mid-level lawyer to join their busy loans negotiation team. This will initially last 6 months but has the opportunity to extend or potentially transition into a permanent role.

The role will involve bilateral loan facilities, negotiating and reviewing loan documentation, legal opinions, guarantees, and managing the documentation and execution from first draft onwards. The successful candidates will be expected to have excellent people skills and motivated to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

This will suit a qualified lawyer with relevant exposure to negotiating loan documentation (preference for investment grade and leveraged loan facilities), LMAs, and strong transaction management skills. Previous experience in a bank or financial institution would be desirable (in a business or in a legal role), and ideally you will be immediately available to interview.
