The Role

The firm is seeking to hire a Tax and Trusts Lawyer in their City of London based office.

The Private Wealth department is ranked top tier in the Legal 500, it advises business owners, corporate executives, high-net-worth individuals and family groups across the globe on all aspects of cross-border wealth management, trust and estate planning, and wealth transfer issues, with particular experience in UK, US and South African legal, tax and compliance matters. Reflecting the firm's premier name globally for private client work, it advises private equity firms and family interests on their transactional needs.

You will deal with a varied caseload, which will include advising internationally based clients and their family offices, trustees and private banks on international trust, tax, and wealth-transfer issues. You will work with clients in the United States, the UK, Continental Europe and the Middle East.

Due to the growth in the department, this role comes with excellent prospects for progression.

Requirements:

• You will be a Tax and Trusts Lawyer with at least five years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• You will have strong Tax and Trusts experience
• Ideally, you will be well versed to dealing with International HNW clients
• You should have first-class communication skills
• Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
