Management Accountant

Investigo are currently urgently seeking an Immediately available Management Accountant to join a client in Hertfordshire. This is a well known business that is instantly recognisable and offers a challenging and supportive working environment. We are seeking someone on an initial temp basis but the role could become permanent for the right individual.

This role is required to manage the production of the Management accounts and Financial data for the business along with management of the team and purchase ledger. This is a significant role within the business and requires flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business and provide financial support to the business.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management reports to deadline.
• Provide monthly commentary on variances to budget and forecast.
• Produce quarterly VAT returns.
• Completing all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Management of Purchase Ledger and monthly reporting.
• Management of management accounts team.
• Management of accurate documentation for our international division.
• Work with the business to produce a fit for purpose rolling forecast.
• Work with the business to review the internal audit procedures.
• Assist with improvements of financial sign off within the business.
• Assist in preparation of Statuary accounts and audit process.
• Assist in managing the finance departments budgeted expenditure.
• Ad-Hoc reporting for the business.

To Apply you will ideally meet the following criteria below.

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the telephone with individuals and with a wide variety of organisation's and audiences.

Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise tasks, handle pressure and support finance team.

Be at an intermediate level using Excel
