Salary: £75k plus benefits

This is a great opportunity to join the operating board of a highly successful, design led engineering company which has grown to become one of the leading players in its international markets. As part of a planned succession, the Board is now looking for a commercial finance professional to take full responsibility for the company's global financial affairs and to develop and maintain a rigorous control and reporting system in support of its business plan.

Reporting to the MD and as a member of the dynamic, closely knit senior management team, you will play a key role in planning and delivering continued profitable growth whilst strengthening the focus on improved financial operational efficiency both in the UK and internationally. IN addition to your statutory duties and the provision of accurate and reliable management information, you will be expected to play a leading part in the definition, evaluation and implementation of business strategy and commercial policy and to manage a variety of important external relationships.

Well qualified and with good up to date technical accounting and IT knowledge, you will already be operating at a senior management level ad have a good experience of the demands and financial requirements of fast growing multi-national businesses.  Energetic and analytical, you will possess strong IT skills, be a clear communicator and have the personal authority and the credibility to represent the company externally.
