Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Group Financial Controller
The Company: is a market leader and is represented in over 100 countries globally. They continue to offer innovative and leading edge products in their field. With research, development, design and manufacturing plants around the world, they employ over 5000 people and the Group generate revenues in access of £600m.
The role: Reports to the General Manager - Group Reporting and will be responsible for the companies group consolidations and compliance with Group accounting policies.
Preparation of the management accounts pack and reports, ensuring that subsidiary accounting is correct, accurate and delivered on time. Recommend and implement best practice controls to ensure a smooth flow of information is achieved and complies with local legislation.
Project accounting,transfer pricing, reporting SOX compliance, tax reports and statutory accounting will all be part of this challenging new position.
The Person: A graduate, with at least 5 years post qualified ACA/ACCA experience with detailed knowledge of group management accounting and consolidation. Experience of working within a pan-European environment very useful but not essential. An understanding of currency and exchange with advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SAP/SUN. A strong communicator, with excellent analysis and problem solving skills, comfortable implementing new processes and procedures to ensure an effective control environment is achieved. The role does require some travel.
