The Organisation
Due to a high profile secondment, Sellick Partnership are currently seeking an interim Finance Business Partner with a strong background in general accounting (including budgeting and re-forecasting), commercial analysis and business planning. The client that we are representing are a market leader and are currently going through a rapid period of expansion and change. Highly profitable and with multitude high level projects running simultaneously this business have bold aspirations and are in need of a high quality interim
The Role
With an established finance team already in place the business that we're representing are in need of a proven interim with highly developed reporting and business partnering skills. Once in role the candidate will also be assisting the business in the following key areas:
- Development of key financial processes and strategy across multiple programme streams
- Assisting with all aspects of financial reporting including month / quarter / year end processes
- Provide commercial analysis focussing on emerging trends in the sector
- Provide high level commentary on all BAU and project areas
- Take a lead on all aspects of budgeting , forecasting and financial planning
- Liaise with European stakeholders to manage the delivery of financial projects
- Provide accurate financial and management information to the executive team
- Stakeholder engagement across the project and executive team to ensure that heads are aware of the financial consequences of their decisions
- Liaise with centralised / European project finance teams to ensure that programmes are delivering in line with projections, project spend is controlled and deadlines are hit
- Become the key finance contact across the FP&A division & implement standardised reporting and financial processes
- Establish and monitor financial requirements across all project areas
- Production and preparation of project steering packs for the executive board
The Candidate
Candidates wishing to apply for this role will be a CCAB Qualified Accountant with experience of working in an FP&A function while partnering with key contacts across the reporting function. The interim will demonstrate strong commercial analysis skills and the ability to explain findings to non-financial staff at a senior level as well as challenging various project budgets / costs.
The interim will be technically strong, have European finance exposure and the ability to work in a business where multi currency is key. Core skills that need to be demonstrated include reporting skills, delivery of financial information relating to project plans and business partnering with key stakeholders.
