Finance Business Partner

SF Group are currently recruiting for a fantastic manufacturing business based near Rubery. The client themselves are very open minded and will consider;

Extremely strong senior Finance business partners that would like a manufacturing environment.

A more junior newly qualified candidate who has manufacturing experience that they can train up. 

This role is a brilliant opportunity to join a business as a Plant Finance Business Partner and help shape and drive the profitability of a number of sites. Main duties will include:

• Primary finance business partner to the wider finance team and the operations management team
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders i.e. senior operational team including directors and unit business leaders
• Provide a business partnering service to business units, both supporting and challenging the management team
• Influencing the strategic decision-making process, and developing forecasting models to support business planning
• Creation of plant dashboards to give accurate overviews of plant performance
• Ownership of commercial finance operations within the plants including costing, product margin, stock, WIP, BOM and pricing
• Helping drive a harmonious approach to operational finance across the group sites
• Help lead a number of finance projects within the department
• Oversee the production of relevant daily and weekly KPIs
• Production of the meaningful and timely commercial analysis to support decision making.
• Production of budgeting and forecasting
• Analysis of plant overheads across a number of sites
• Develop multi-site operational variance analysis reporting and provide critical insights for management
• Own critical financial controls and processes
• Ad hoc analysis on a project basis including potential capex investment
