Group Financial Controller

I am looking for a Group Financial Controller for a media and marketing agency that focus on providing a unique service to their clients with a bottom up approach.

I need someone who is passionate about marketing and advertising and thrives in a fast paced environment that must keep up to date with marketing channels and trends. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to an FP&A team, as the business is very fluid and need someone who is both technically and commercially sound. The team is growing rapidly and need a proactive self starter.

The role will be a key member of the senior management team and will likely be a temp to perm opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Group consolidations
• Internal and external reporting in compliance with UK GAAP
• Statutory accounting
• Responsibility for budgeting and forecasting
• M&A and due diligence duties
• Ad hoc FP&A responsibilities, working closely with the commercial finance team

Key requirements:

• ACA/ ACCA/ CA strongly preffered- fully qualified chartered accountant
• Proactive, team player with excellent communication skills
• IT literate
• Strong technical accountant with excellent commercial acumen
• Ability to deal with senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage a team (size TBC)
