A business services organisation, based in London, is looking for a Project Accountant to join their team following a recent restructure.
Working closely with Project Managers, this role will take ownership of the end-to-end project accounting process, including analysis and reporting of costs, WIP, financial modelling for the tender process and revenue recognition reviews. You will also get involved with process improvement strategies and will manage a small team of Project Administrators.
The successful candidate will be a part-qualified or qualified, commercially orientated Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who has experience in a project management environment. Due to the fact this position will work closely with Senior Project Managers, it is essential that you have strong communication skills and feel comfortable challenging where necessary. Due to the nature of the industry, strong Excel skills are a pre-requisite.
