A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced general commercial lawyer within a well-known leading global luxury fashion brand based in London on a fixed term base of between 6-8 months.
This new role, which has arisen due to an increase of workload within the department, will be reporting to the Legal Director and work closely with a number of individuals within the collaborative legal department. You will be working closely with the various teams within the business and will advise on a broad range of legal issues with a primary focus on Commercial Contract and Intellectual Property matters.
This role will suit someone who has a passion for the creative industries with strong commercial drafting and negotiating contract experience (e.g. franchising, agency, licensing and sponsorship agreements). A good grasp of IP law and another European language is a definite plus. Ideally you will be UK qualified and will be at least 4 years PQE. You will have trained and have several post qualification years within either Private Practice or commercial focused In House role and will have a pragmatic and commercial approach.
