Legal Counsel - Financial Services-Bristol

Our client is a leading provider of wealth and investment management services to private clients, professional advisers, charities, corporates and institutions.

Being part of a global financial services group, they provide a range of financial products and services to millions of clients globally.

From its base in Bristol, we are currently looking for an experienced In-House Lawyer to provide effective support to the business.

As a qualified lawyer your role will be to assist the Head of Legal and wider business with a very varied range of projects and tasks that require legal support.

From contract drafting and negotiation across a full spectrum of suppliers and partners, through to retail terms of business and client agreements, providing a day to day advice to the business and supporting a wide range of commercial and corporate projects. This role will give you a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a modern financial services organisation.

This business is highly inclusive with the legal division being a highly valued part of its senior management team.

This role requires a qualified UK lawyer with financial services experience. You will be highly effective in a team environment and be a natural communicator.

We are looking for the following;

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience.
• A good understanding of retail financial services regulation, company law, corporate governance and company secretary accountabilities.
• Proven drafting skills.
• Strong communication, organisation and project skills.
• Ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
