Your new company
My client is a world leader in agri-science lead by innovative entrepreneurs and it holds a position of respect and dominance in its market. As a result of a restructure of the finance leaders of the business, the decision has been taken to add some additional technical excellence to their European facing team.

Your new role
Your job will be to provide support and commercial insight to the results and data that are coming from the operational facilities, focussing on sales and cash reporting, margin analysis, inventory analysis and market insight. You'll also be required to get into the detail of cash management, internal controls, tax reporting and compliance with local European legislation.
You will travel around your "patch" and while your job will have its permanent base in Lincolnshire, you will have a secondary base in NE Germany, thus you can expect to be in Europe for approx 50% of your time.

What you'll need to succeed
This job needs an experienced accounting professional and a recognised qualification is preferred but not essential if you have the experience to fall back on. What is more important is fluency in German and an understanding / appreciation of the culture.
