An outstanding opportunity has arisen for the newly created position of Commercial Finance Business Partner within this growing retail focused business who are based in Hampshire.

Working closely with the Finance Director and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Commercial Finance Business Partner will provide effective commercial and financial support to the business. Responsibilities will include:

• Financial planning including budgeting and rolling forecasts
• Identify and investigate key variances in volumes and profitability
• Month end activities and financial reporting
• Provision of accurate financial analysis to help improve business performance
• Recommendations to further enhance revenues, operating margin and cost controls
• Seek to identify and implement improvements in the commercial accounting process

Applicants for the Commercial Finance Business Partner role should have the following:

• experience of Commercial Finance / FP&A - specifically business partnering, budgeting & forecasting. 
• Ideally a f qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• excellent technical skills with experience of financial and management accounting
• strong analytical skills with high level of attention to detail
• ability to interpret data and to convert into insightful, meaningful management information
• a demonstrable track record of career progression
• excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and implement change
• advanced excel skills
