My client is a luxury tour operator specialising in ski and summer beach music festivals. The dynamic company operate across Europe and the USA and pride themselves on providing truly unforgettable experiences. My client, based in Central London, is currently seeking a Finance Director to work alongside the CEO. The successful candidate will be fully qualified and will have extensive travel/hospitality experience.Key responsibilities:
Lead and develop the finance team
Oversee the day to day running of the finance department
Cash flow forecasting and currency procurement & hedging
Budget strategy and implementation for festivals and tours across Europe & USA
Review weekly KPIs for key sales and key cost areas
Consolidation of Sales, P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow statements reporting, plus regulatory compliance to CAA for ATOL licence, ABTA and banks.
Reviewing and enhancing internal procedures, systems and controls
Appraisal of profitability regarding new properties and ventures
Desired Skills and Experience:
Must be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Must have travel/hospitality experience
Previous experience of managing and developing staff
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
