Director of Financial Control

Our client is a international group and are keen to attract a high calibre Director of Financial Control to their Midlands H/Q. Reporting to the VP Finance Europe, the Director of Financial Control will support the global business.

Overview:

• Improve and standardise internal and external reporting
• Support M&A activity, ensuring acquired businesses are appropriately integrated
• Developing best practice and functional excellent in financial control processes (SOX)
• Drive continuous improvement
• Delivering a timely and accurate consolidation and group reporting process (USGAAP)
• Conduct balance sheet reviews
• Coordinating quarterly, and annual reporting
• Manage the relationship with external parties (company secretarial, statutory, audit, tax, VAT)
• Supporting internal audit, treasury and shared service centre

Candidate:

• Experience in a European/global business
• Qualified (ACA, ACCA ideally)
• Technically strong, with a practice background
• Exceptional attention to detail
