Our client is an international real estate group with assets across the UK and Continental Europe.
A technically strong and proactive accountant is now required to manage all aspects of accounting, consolidation and compliance for the European Group and its subsidiaries.
Reporting to the European Finance Director responsibilities include ensuring that the country accountants produce month end accounts promptly and accurately, producing the monthly European consolidated management report, preparation of cashflow forecasts for the European Group, undertake a project to simplify the European Group structure, management of the year end audit. The role involves occasional travel to a 4 or 5 European countries.
Suitable candidates will be ACA, ACCA or ACMA qualified, technically strong and ideally (although not essential) will have some knowledge of Property/Property Businesses and some international exposure.
