Blackwaters is recruiting a Financial Controller on behalf of an acquisitive construction and development business based in Surrey.
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director and supporting the Managing Director; this role is a commercially focused role, responsible for managing the finance function for the fast growing ‘Developments' business.
The role will include full responsibility for the ‘traditional' finance and accounting function of the business unit. In addition, the role will require close liaison across the business throughout the development process including assisting with assessment and modelling of investment opportunities. Key responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who has the capability to manage multiple bids and projects concurrently; in addition to managing a small finance team (3-4) and supporting the Commercial and Development Directors with business partnering and commercial support.
This role lends itself to someone with a construction or development finance background looking to make a move into their first divisional FD role.
