Assistant Financial Controller

One of the UK's most well know and trusted brands is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for their European Head Office. This is brand new role that has arisen due to growth within the business. You will be a key member of the Controllership Team, playing an integral role in maintaining and developing the control environment of the business.

Reporting directly into the Divisional Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and reviewing the output of the monthly control pack process
• Helping to review policies and procedures and monitoring the implementation and adherence to such policies across the Division
• Assisting with the roll-out of the Group Financial Control programme, to document, test and remediate controls across the Division
• Reviewing and rationalising the company structure in each of our countries across the Division, to set up or remove entities from the structure
• Oversight of some of the Divisional accounting processes
• Conducting a variety of project work

The ideal profile will be a practice trained accountant from a top tier firm. You will either have had post qualified experience within Practice or have some industry experience, preferably within an international business.
