Legal Counsel

Global technology outfit based in Central London are looking to hire a Legal Counsel, initially on a six month contract with a view to the role becoming permanent further down the line.

About the Role

Working as part of a small and collegiate legal function, the Legal Counsel will be given the opportunity to undertake a varied remit including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements relating to sales, T&Cs, technology, partnerships and products.
• Leading small to mid-sized deals, and making a key contribution to larger projects
• Getting involved in a wide range of other matters such as corporate, GDPR, employment and property
• Interfacing with key stakeholders across the business both in the UK and Europe

About You

This hire requires a commercial lawyer with at least one year's PQE, although all applications will be considered on merit. You must have experience in drafting and negotiating a broad variety of commercial agreements. Any in-house experience (including secondments) will be viewed as advantageous. This is a small legal team so whilst plenty of support will be provided, there will be many situations where you will need to use initiative and be proactive. Both UK and foreign-qualified lawyers will be considered.

This role requires somebody who can start by mid-March at the latest.
