I am currently recruiting for a global leading law firm based in London who have over 2000 employees spread across 3 continents who provide talent and technology to help legal departments adapt to a demanding new era. The firm is now seeking a Data Protection/Privacy Lawyer to join their legal, business, and tech-focused team on a permanent full time basis.

The successful Data Protection/Privacy Lawyer will need experience with commercial contracts containing information law clauses; data protection-related documentation (drafting & advising) such as data processing agreements, data-sharing and data transfer agreements, in addition to privacy impact assessments including future-proofing for GDPR and Brexit. Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 + years of experience in regulatory and policy advice in the areas of data protection, privacy law and other areas of information law
• Familiarity with relevant UK and EU Privacy laws (Data Protection Directive, Directive 95/46/EC, Data protection Act 1998, Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000)
• Excellent academic and law firm credentials; In-house experience is preferred
• A passion for providing unparalleled client service
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
