About

McKenzie Douglas are recruiting for an impressive organisation that has a leading presence in the market. They are expanding their services through various acquisitions and diversified investments in the UK.

This position allows for 1 day to work from home and adjusted start / finish times which may assist commuters from surrounding locations like Manchester, Sheffield, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield, York, Harrogate.

This role would suit Lawyers who have experience in one or more of the following sectors: Construction, Property, Engineering and/or Redevelopment Projects.

Accountabilities

This is a newly created role prompted by their growth and long-term goals. You will work in a friendly team, reporting to a more experienced Solicitor. You will receive a great deal of autonomy when handling an array of complex and challenging work - you will have great exposure and variety but can expect to focus on mainly construction and property development/ regenerations projects across the UK.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • 4 - 8 years PQE*
  • Experience in one of the following industries: Construction, Engineering, Projects (PFI/PPP)
  • Proficient in handling standard suite construction contracts (JCT & NEC)
  • Any exposure to Public Procurement would be advantageous
