Senior Finance Manager

Your new company
Hays are recruiting on behalf of a market leading business within their industry in South Norfolk. This company have experienced a huge amount of growth over the past 12 months and are now in need of some temporary resource to support during a period of transition.

Your new role
Your new role will be responsible for oversight of the management accounts team of c15 staff and will be a member of the Senior Finance Leadership Team. The role provides leadership, direction and development of the team, controls, systems and processes.

The principal aspects of the role are:
Leadership of the Management Accounts team.
Development of the management accountants in their role as finance business partners.
Enhancement and delivery of robust financial control, including development and implementation of improvements in processes, procedures and accountability.
Oversight of the project management of the finance integration of all newly acquired businesses.
Delivery of timely, accurate and robust monthly consolidated reporting for the group
Supporting the Financial Controller as finance subject matter expert on group wide projects such as stock control, Microsoft Dynamics NAV finance system implementation and development, acquisitions.
Deputising as required for the financial controller at operations meetings.
Seeking continuous development and improvement in client service and processes.

This is a full time post working between Monday and Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous managerial experience of at least 10 part or fully qualified staff and be able to manage, motivate and direct those staff effectively. You will be able to provide the platform for the Management Accounts team to provide an effective business partnering service across the business and be able to identify and analyse key metrics for successful financial performance.

You will have excellent knowledge of large scale financial accounting software packages and have previous experience in the implementation of new software from infancy through to completion.

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant and have a proven track record of successful business process improvement.

You will need to be immediately available to start or on short notice period and be able to work on site in South Norfolk for the next 6 months.
