Finance Director

Our client is a global consultancy provider. They require a Finance Director to manage the finance and commercial function.

Job brief:

• Be an Integral part of the Senior Management Team
• Formulating Business Strategy in line with growth plans
• Responsible for the coaching, development and motivation of a team including Finance, Commercial, Administration and IT
• Corporate Governance - responsible for the oversight on compliance - incorporating anti bribery, conflict of interest and business wide risk.
• Development of integrated Financial Planning - Annual Budgets at Business Unit Level, Quarterly Forecasting, Cash flow management
• Management of Currency Risk
• Management of key relationships - banking, insurance, audit and external partners
• Advising business leaders, including the Board on all financial matters
• Management of the Financial reporting to allow accuracy and visibility of costs and Business Unit/project profitability.
• Review and restructuring of business processes to remove inefficiencies, including the identification of the role of development/ marketing in the business, and the adoption of an integrated approach to Project Management.
• Development of commercial awareness through the Project Management and Finance team

Required skills sets:

You will be a qualified accountant, with experience within an SME business or charitable organisation who can demonstrate the ability to contribute to the senior leadership team and manage a finance and operational team.
