Financial Controller

An International Technology and Infrastructure business, based in Central London, is seeking the expertise of a Financial Controller to support the finance community and wider business. This role will focus on oversight for all financial and regulatory reporting and include management of a small team of qualified accountants. The position is expected to be 6 months however is likely to be extended.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for the management of the finance function
• Provide technical accounting guidance on accounting transactions and queries and to help introduce new accounting standards across the group in line with IFRS and the companies Procedures Manual.
• Prepare accounting summaries to show the impact of one-off transations. Requiring collaboration with the local finance teams, Group Treasury and Group Tax.
• An element of business partnering with financial and operational management, ensuring outstanding financial accounting and international standards adherence throughout the business.

Candidate Requirements:

• A recognised Accountancy Qualification, i. ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Post qualification experience in a financial role
• Excellent working knowledge for IFRS
• Excellent communication skills - Written and Verbal
• Must have superb accuracy and attention to detail
• Calm manner, able to work under pressure and the ability to prioritise work effectively
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work as part of a team
• Able to make thorough decisions when needed, and take accountability for outcomes
