Financial Controller

A leading hospitality company based in Central London is looking for a Financial Controller to assist with the development of the strategic plan and to oversee all of its operational entities. This role is due to be 6 months in length but if a strong candidate is placed there is potential for this to develop into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the management and day-to-day running of the finance function
• Provide technical accounting guidance on accounting transactions and queries and to help introduce new accounting standards across the group in line with IFRS and the companies Procedures Manual.

• Supporting management team with business analysis
• An element of business partnering with different department heads to provide advice on relating financial matters

Candidate Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant with strong post qualification commercial experience
• Ability to work both independently, as well as part of the wider department
• Time management and ability to prioritise work load effectively
• Excellent communication skills - Written and verbal
• Experience in the hospitality industry is desirable
