Partner, Contentious Construction
Central London
A vacancy has arisen for Partner to lead the Construction & Engineering dispute resolution team for a legal firm in their Commercial & Infrastructure department of the Central London office.
The Construction & Engineering team of 14 (4 Partners and 8 other fee earners) are based in Bristol and London, and work on a mix of Contentious and Non-Contentious matters for both public and private sector clients. The Construction & Engineering team sits within the wider Commercial & Infrastructure department and includes a further 21 partners.
The successful candidate will have a track record in contentious construction work across a wide range of contracts. Experience of JCT and NEC will be essential but experience of PFI/PPP projects at both Project Agreement and/or Construction/Services Contract level will be advantageous. There is an existing caseload of Partner lead work delivered through the London Office and so a following is not essential. However, the successful candidate will have excellent business development skills and be able to demonstrate the ability and enthusiasm to develop and grow contentious construction work delivered from the London office.
Highly competitive salary and benefits on offer.
