JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial/Reconciliation Accountant

Responsible To : Group Financial Controller

Job Role : To assist the Group Financial Controller prepare for the statutory audit for the year ended 30 June 2017.

Hours : Monday to Friday 8 to 6pm

Responsibilities:

• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Integrity of balance sheets.
• Assist in preparation of audit file with backing documentation and other information requested by auditors.
• Assist with calculations and data for year end adjustments.
• Assist with analytical review of results and balance sheet.
• Assist with consolidation of UK and overseas operating companies.
• Assist with review of statutory accounts, audit reports and management letters for overseas entities.
• Ad hoc requests related to the 30 June 2017 year end.


 

Experience:

Essential

• Reconciliations
• Trial balance
• Producing year end statutory accounts for audit
• Purchase and sales ledger
• VAT

Desirable

• Consolidation
• Exposure to overseas entity accounting
• PAYE/payroll

Ideal Candidate:

• Consolidations
• Financial accountant with proven experience in preparing accounts for audit and liaison with auditors
• Part or fully qualified ACA or ACCA
• Worked in group with complex structure
• Experience of dealing with oversea entities
