Group Financial Controller

Private Equity backing has provided this business, which trades across the globe, the opportunity to gain further market share. A specialist in their field, organic and acquisition driven growth now gives them substantial scale. The newly created role of Group Financial Controller is a logical step as the business becomes more complex.

Reporting into the CFO, you will take a lead on a number of Group wide responsibilities, consolidating local accounts across a range of currencies and probing into the figures provided by a number of Site Finance Managers. Technical wherewithal will be matched by an astute business brain, a good sixth sense and the ability to lead and motivate teams locally (whilst driving a number of requirements internationally).

Prior Group experience would be hugely beneficial, whether gained in your current / previous roles or on secondment from practice. You will be a Qualified Accountant, most likely ACA or ACCA with a practice background and sufficient confidence and intellect to make a difference. Manchester based.
