Commercial Finance Director

Our client, a rapidly growing E-commerce retailer in Paris are looking for a Commercial Finance Lead for one of their Business Units.

Position Description

This role supports the business in France and requires close collaboration with the local business team and with multiple other business and finance teams in Europe. Reporting into the European VP your focus is to optimize the business in France but you will work as well on pan EU and worldwide projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management
• Tell the story of the BU in France from a finance perspective and provide gap analysis
• Lead the planning process
• Define, maintain and develop performance metrics and generate actionable insights
• Assess business cases, perform ROI analysis and drive cost saving initiatives
• Manage a small team of financial analysts

Basic Qualifications

• Master degree in finance, business or related field
• 10+ years of experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience managing a team and interest in coaching and developing people
• Business acumen and backbone to partner well with the business
