Commercial Accountant

We are looking for a commercially minded accountant/financial analyst - up to £300 per day

We are looking for a commercially minded Commercial Accountant / accountant/financial analyst with prior experience of working on B2B contracts, structuring and appraising deals, prior experience working with sales team with a focus on revenue. Analytically astute and strong communication/business partnering style. Self starter who can hit the ground running.




Your new role
You will be reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance UK and acting as a business partner to the Director and the management team. The Commercial Accountant is responsible for financial insight on all procedural and consultation costs; maintaining the costing systems; managing and reporting on all finance issues; ensuring costs are accurate, realistic and achievable; responsible for driving cost savings; working capital improvements from inventory, procedural, consultation and supply chain pathways. The operational controller is also responsible for ensuring financial compliance throughout the business with all financial policies and associated delegations of authority.


Essential Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 PQE in manufacturing accounting roles, preferably with hands on experience of standard costing systems

Essential Skills:

• Experience user of SAP systems
• Advanced excel user, skilled at managing and manipulating large volumes of data, summarising and presenting
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, word, outlook)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build relationships at all levels within the business

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previously worked as a an Managing Accountant, or worked within roles that have collectively given the exposure and the experience necessary to succeed in a business finance manager role. we are looking for a qualified person ACCA/CIMA/Equivalent, have strong MS Excel skills, and embrace team culture through support, energy in role, solid communication.


What you'll get in return We would like to look for someone to work an initial 3 month contract but would be willing to convert to permanent subject to individual performance and business needs. We would be looking at paying circa £300 per day for the right person.
