Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly management & financial accounts preparation
• Reporting to parent company
• Sales analysis, cash flow projections, forecasts and annual budgets
• Preparation of annual financial statements according to local and parent company GAAP
• Ownership of Fixed Assets register, Prepayment & Accrual schedules
• Preparation & processing of all payroll related matters
• Also staff holidays and employee expenses, including corporate credit cards
• Statutory reporting including PAYE & NI, VAT, Intrastat
• Local banking and insurance matters
• Contact person for auditors and tax advisors
• Sales and corporate tax
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and corporate standards
• Management of company vehicles
• Control and processing of annual stock check

Essential Experience Requirements;

• Business / finance qualification CIMA / ACCA / QBE
• Related business and accounting experience of minimum 10 years
• Must have experience in Sage payroll
• Solid background in dealing with foreign currencies
• Must have an excellent understanding of UK tax filing requirements and of GAAP reporting
• Experience of reporting to a European parent company.
