ABF are looking to recruit a high calibre senior finance professional who is looking for a challenging and high visibility entry point role offering fast track career progression in a truly global organisation.
With significant exposure to the group Executive and to senior management within business units across all regions and divisions, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the group consolidation under IFRS of annual and interim statutory accounts for 400 active reporting entities
- Assisting with monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting to tight deadlines for the Board
- Providing technical training, guidance and advice on International Accounting Standards to the group's worldwide operations
- Supporting a variety of projects including impairment reviews, valuation of intangibles, acquisition due diligence, disposals and ad hoc analysis as and when required
The successful candidate will be a technically strong, senior qualified accountant with an inquisitive and flexible approach who will have trained within a top accounting firm. You will have the confidence, credibility and gravitas to build relationships and engage with a variety of senior stakeholders across the entire business. The successful candidate will be eligible to participate in the group's fast track “Finance Development Programme” which provides accelerated career development across the group. With its exposure to the Group Executive and regular interaction with the businesses, this role provides an excellent springboard for progression either within Head Office or into an operating company for those candidates whose style is both challenging and diplomatic and who have the credibility to work at the highest levels across the organisation.
