Lantmännen Unibake is the second largest bakery group in Europe with 36 bakeries in 15 countries. We market our leading frozen and fresh bakery products for retail and food service markets in more than 60 markets around the world.

Our aim is to make bread a profitable business for customers through high-quality products and innovative solutions - always based on a sustainable mind-set and excellent food safety standards.

Lantmännen Unibake has a turnover of EUR 1.1 billion and employs 6,000 people in more than 20 countries.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Commercial Controller to join our UK Finance team.

The role reports to the Finance Director with a strong focus on acting as a true Business Partner to the Commercial Director. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Commercial team in the execution of major account plans to drive profitable growth in both the UK and International markets in 2018 and beyond. This will involve evaluating new business opportunities, pricing, analysis of promotions, sales and margin reporting, forecasting and budgeting.

This is a genuinely commercial finance role for a confident individual, looking to add bottom line value.

In return we are seeking an individual with strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to question source data and suggest improvements. Your KPI reporting will be strong.

Knowledge of ERP systems / Microsoft Dynamics is desirable but not essential. You will ideally have a good understanding of retailer discount structures, rebates, over-riders and promotional support.

A good understanding of the construction of standard costs and variances to standard, e.g. PPV, labour, overhead variances; would also be highly desirable.

Ideally you'll have worked for an FMCG or other manufacturing business before and you'll be comfortable working collaboratively across the organisation.

Desired Skills and Experience

This role would suit a qualified Accountant with proven post qualification experience, preferably degree qualified and looking to take full responsibility for a commercial function.

This role will involve regular travel to our other UK offices.

In return, we can offer an excellent package, including car or allowance and excellent career development with an expanding global organisation.

We have a continuous recruitment process and will be reviewing applications on a daily basis, so please apply today.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING CV SUBMISSIONS FROM RECRUITMENT AGENCIES FOR THIS POSITION.
