Senior Legal Counsel

This leading financial institution is currently seeking an experienced lawyer with Reinsurance transactional experience. Great opportunity to join a collegiate and engaged in-house team, you will take up a key role advising on large reinsurance transactions including complex structures incorporating ISDA concepts. The transactions are often international in nature and may involve travel to Asia and/or the UK.   

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years pae at a major law firm (UK or Australia) and, potentially also in-house or on secondment. You will have experience of handling complex Reinsurance transactions, preferably including international deals. Prior exposure to the UK market and Reinsurance of UK pension funds would be advantageous, so Australian or UK qualified Lawyers will be considered. Experience with ISDAs/derivatives would also be advantageous.
