In this position, you will oversee the day to day running of the Finance department which is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial activity including; general ledger maintenance, purchase ledger maintenance, VAT returns, departmental hours costs calculation, affiliate accounts, bank and PSP reconciliations, test account reconciliations, fixed asset register maintenance, statutory accounts, branch account consolidation, monthly management accounts preparation, variance analysis, financial modelling, gaming duty calculation and return, and working closely with departments across the business to ensure optimised processes and positive financial contribution.

Ideally, we would be interested in those with FMCG experience, although not essential, but certainly those with knowledge of a high volume, fast paced environment. This role would also suit candidates with exposure to international markets, high volume-low value transactions and those with a detailed insight into the daily management of the ensuing cash flows.

Reporting to the CFO, this will be a high profile appointment with significant progression for the right candidate.

Key skills desired:

•ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 10+ years commercial experience in Finance and Accounting.

•Experience managing and leading a Finance team.

•Industry experience within online gaming, or online banking/retail is essential!

•Experience working for privately owned businesses is essential!

•Experience in the FMCG sector
