Fund Financial Controller

A leading, privately held, Real Estate Investment firm are currently looking to bring on a Senior Fund Accountant to support the continued growth of the business. This is a newly created role and due to the size of the company it has a broad remit and the opportunity to get involved in a number of different areas.

Role Responsibilities:

• Overseeing timely, accurate management accounts for individual SPVs and consolidating for the entire fund.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, income statements and cashflow statements accordingly for individual SPVs.
• Management of the business cashflow and optimizing working capital requirements.
• Preparing Statutory Accounts alongside external audit partners.
• Maintaining relationships with banks and producing associated reports.
• Preparing tax reporting (VAT, corporate) and liaising with external tax consultants in order to ensure correct structures within the SPVs and implement guidance.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Ownership of budget control and cost management strategy.
• Implementing, reviewing and improving financial processes and systems.
• Organisation and oversight of AP & AR.
• Implementing drawdowns / capital statements for Fund
• Input on portfolio management / returns and associated analysis
• Monitoring asset performance vs. underwriting

This role encompasses full financial control as well as some strategic/commercial input into the direction and management of both the company and fund. It would ideally suit an ACA qualified individual from Big 4 with c.3 years PQE in a Fund/Real Estate/Investment environment.
