Interim Financial Controller

This is an excellent 6-month opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a private equity-backed SAAS company. Our client has achieved outstanding revenue growth in the past 3 years entering the top-100 tech growth businesses. This is the perfect chance for an aspiring CFO to gain hands on experience with a business achieving rapid-growth market success whilst working closely with a high calibre senior management. For the right candidate to drive this business forward, there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The Role:

• You will take ownership of the accounting processes and financial controls for revenue and costs - proving your ability to identify accuracy and efficiency improvements. You will have the opportunity to identify ways of using SAGE to reduce dependence on excel Maintaining data integrity in the key financial reports. Preparing and reviewing consolidated monthly accounts - showcasing an attention to detail for management accounting function. Supporting the CFO with board report preparation, budgeting and forecasting processes - giving you a chance to work directly with the CFO and make an invaluable impact within the business. Liaising regularly with project managers on project performance, days to complete and revenue recognition. Management of the revenue recognition process and reported revenue. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable project accounting processes.

The Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified. Degree-level or above education would be a strong advantage for our client. Strong knowledge of IFRS, project accounting and revenue recognition polices. Minimum of 5 years PQE. We are seeking a FC with high technical standards. Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of financial systems (Sage Line 50) Experienced with staff management.
