Legal Counsel

An independent Video Game Producer based in Cambridge are currently looking to appoint an In-House Lawyer to manage a diverse range of Commercial work. This varied role will work closely with a number of key stakeholders and clients and offers an abundance of learning opportunities and development for a junior-mid level lawyer.

The role will require the individual to provide legal support in a variety of areas including: Commercial, software development, intellectual property, technology, trademarks and employment matters. You will report into a Senior Director and shall be involved in implementing a number of strategic projects whilst providing support to Product Managers, Producers and the HR function.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer from either a Private Practice or In-House background with experience handling complex contract, commercial and IP related issues. Ideal candidates will additionally have knowledge of competition and advertising standard and have either experience of dealing with game development contracts or an interest in gaming. This role would suit a junior-mid level lawyer who is looking to secure a varied and interesting role within a business who are experiencing a period of growth.
