SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL (TECHNOLOGY, TELECOMS, PROCUREMENT) - FTSE

This is a great opportunity for a technology lawyer to work for a global brand in the retail industry. This is a newly created position due to the company's expansion and future growth plans.

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the senior management team and have responsibility for leading the Technology, Telecoms and Procurement team. The role will have a high level of internal and external visibility. Working with the CTO you will ensure the delivery of Technology contracting, licencing and development. The work the team undertakes includes domestic and international services transactions, Statements of Work relating to cloud services, maintenance agreements and renewals, software license agreements and non-disclosure agreements. You will also advise the telecoms and procurement parts of the business on a variety of issues, leading the team of specialist lawyers in these areas.

Ideally you should be 8-12 years PQE and have trained in a top tier private practice firm. In-house experience is essential and ideally in the technology industry. You will need to be highly adaptability to new areas and have a track record of leading and transforming teams.
