Interim In-House Lawyer job with financial services company in Bristol, employer of choice

Your new firm
This Global financial services provider is looking for an interim In-House Lawyer to join their Legal team based in Bristol on a six month contract to provide effective support to their UK business.

Your new role
You will be assisting the Head of Legal, as well as assisting the wider business with a varied range of projects and tasks that require both legal support and review. The main focus of this role will be GDPR and data protection, however you will be resolving legal disputes, drafting and negotiating contracts across a full spectrum of suppliers and partners, providing day to day advice and supporting a wide range of corporate projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar position and will have substantial experience within the Financial Services industry, with recent GDPR and data protection experience. This would be a great role for individuals who are self-starters looking for a high level of autonomy with great exposure to senior management. You will have up to date knowledge on current and future legal requirements and be able to influence and engage key stakeholders. Strong communication, organisation and project skills are essential to succeed in this role. You will have a good understanding of company law, corporate governance and have proven drafting skills.
