Executive Vice President/General Manager
This position reports directly to an elected
nine member Board of Directors and is the Chief Executive Officer for LCEC and its subsidiaries.
The CEO is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, directing and controlling all activities of the Cooperative within a policy framework established by the Board of Directors. The CEO is responsible for managing and directing the distribution, generation and transmission of electricity to meet the capacity and energy requirements for the LCEC membership, financial and strategic long range planning, power supply, and development of administrative procedures and representation of the Cooperative on a local, state, regional and national level. This position requires strong leadership in managing diverse functions and development of a centralized operation with enhanced awareness of cost efficiency.
Through
management staff, the CEO directs the activities of all employees. This position is responsible for assuring that electric service is available to all farms, homes, commercial and industrial customers within LCEC's service terriroty and that members will be provided with reliable and economical
