Senior Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager - MIFID II

My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager to join on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for implementing cross asset trade repository and reporting solutions in response to the various Regulatory reforms globally. As the Business Analyst/
Project Owner you will be required to lead the analysis and requirement gatherings of MIFID2 streams for Markets Trade Store and Reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Ability to manage independently large scale cross asset and function implementations of new regulation and changes to existing regulatory commitments, meet business objectives and industry deadlines.
• Business analysis - Translate regulations into business requirements. Documentation and analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Design and document business processes for new world view post regulation implementations. Ensuring business users are trained accordingly.
• Industry engagement: Act as the banks representative in industry calls. Ensuring interest are taken into account and industry initiatives/items are appropriately disseminated
• Review of guidelines published by regulators; perform impact assessment and rules extraction to understand cross asset impact to Operations.

Key requirements:

• Strong proven analytical background
• Exposure to the Front Office/Trade data
• Experience working with SQL and Databases is required for Data analysis
• Proven ability to deliver in Matrix management environment without direct resource ownership
• Strong knowledge of investment banking front to back processes and Operations.
• Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and how they work from trade capture down to Back Office.
