Interim Head of Legal

LAW Absolute is currently seeking a diligent and experienced Interim Head of Legal and Democratic Services. The role is  to work with an excellent Local Authority based in the Home Counties.

Our client urgently needs someone to start ASAP. The role is for an initial three month contract with a strong possibility of an extension.

Our client is a  well-regarded local authority and delivers excellent client care. They are comprised of a fast paced and dynamic team and are surrounded by great transport links to London.

Due to current changes within the authority, our client is seeking an experienced Head of Legal with experience dealing with organisational change. The local authority is going through a period of restructure and therefore experience of dealing with the consultation process and managing change within legal services is essential. If you are successful upon application, you will be expected to hit the ground running and will be required to assist with putting a new structure in place and managing the process with the wider management team. The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer and would have worked at a senior management level previously.
